Samuel Roll Form Group, a division of Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, today announced the grand opening of its newly expanded manufacturing facility in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. The company is marking the occasion with an event welcoming customers, suppliers and several State and Local government officials, including Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves.
The 68,000 square foot expansion began in February 2020 and was made possible with the support of economic development programs, including the Mississippi Works Fund and the Employment in Training Program. Thirty new highly skilled, full-time positions are expected to be added to the community because of this expansion. In total the facility is now more than 300,000 square feet.
“We are excited about the expansion of our facility and the jobs it will create for families in the Iuka and Tishomingo area,” says Mark Autio, Vice President & General Manager, Samuel Roll Form Group. “This expansion will allow us to better serve customers in the railcar and heavy construction industries, while giving us the capabilities, new equipment and added capacity required to pursue business opportunities in new market segments as well.”
