Jason Montgomery has been in the Industrial Automation Industry since 2001 when he began his career as an automation builder and programmer in the automotive plastics industry. Since then, he has spent his time in senior and management roles focused on industrial automation in the mining, plastics, material handling and automotive industries.
With a keen willingness to learn, he is a big proponent of continuing education and lifelong learning. In addition to being a Mechanical Engineering Technologist specializing in Robotics and Automation, he has continued his education by receiving Trade certifications as a Machine Tool Builder Integrator, Millwright and has completed a certificate program in project management.
Jason joined Systematix in 2022, first in sales and applications and more recently transitioning into his current role as manager of the assembly department, including assembly, machining, fabrication, and electrical groups.
In his spare time, Jason is a dedicated father of two who enjoys coaching minor sports, golfing and travelling.
