CAID Automation began in 2012 as a new division of CAID Industries, a fabricator of precision machining services for customers in the mining, energy, aerospace and health-care industries, to provide automation primarily for the Life Sciences.
After a strong first year CAID Automation moved to a larger building and grew to fourteen employees.
CAID Automation outgrew its first facility and moved to a space within the CAID Industries campus.
CAID Industries and along with CAID Automation were acquired by Samuel, Son & Co..
Samuel, Son & Co acquired Systematix as a new sister division of CAID Automation, and the Samuel Automation Solutions Group was formed.
The division of CAID Automation is part of the larger Samuel Automation Solutions Group, still located in Tucson, AZ, while now working alongside the sister division Systematix Inc in Waterloo ON's technology corridor. Our automation solutions constantly evolve to include new technologies and innovations, providing our customers with outstanding technical turnkey solutions.
