Kim-Tam Logistics began operations in 1964 to support the steel distribution plants operated by Samuel, Son & Co. Since that time, a small fleet of steel hauling trucks has grown to serve a broad range of steel customers and industrial markets. Our flatbed services and cross-border transport offers a single source for hauling metals and industrial products in North America.
The reliability of our people and continuing adaptation to the changing needs of metal transport services is responsible for our steady and continuing growth. The drivers and owner-operators that work with us share our commitment to responsibility with each shipment we make. With over 50 years of experience, our staff has the knowledge and the dedication to continue providing unparalleled hauling services.
Kim-Tam Logistics works to exceed customer expectations through continuous improvement of quality, cost competitiveness and service. We work to provide our customers with the greatest flexibility in services available and are committed to ensuring longevity in all of our customer relationships. Our current fleet size is 190 with 125 owners’ operators & 65 company drivers as we look to expand our fleet.

Our screening process ensures each driver brings a solid background to every job, including a safe driving record, strong references, and a professional attitude. With central dispatch centers in both the United States and Canada, our customers and drivers are supported 24/7 across North America. We also demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality through the rigorous process of attaining the ISO 9001 certification.
