Burloak Technologies Inc., a division of Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, today announced that its Camarillo, California additive manufacturing facility has been certified to the AS9100 standard.

The global standard of quality management for the aerospace industry, AS9100 outlines requirements for the creation and maintenance of a quality system to provide safe and reliable products to the sector.  Supplier compliance with AS9100 is a requirement of many leading aviation companies and a pre-requisite to supporting their business. 

A significant point of differentiation for Burloak in the AM industry, the Camarillo site’s AS9100 certification is coupled with strict ITAR compliance – positioning the California-based production facility as a trusted partner of choice for aerospace manufacturers seeking to achieve the many benefits of AM.
