Part of our growth has come from acquiring other long-lasting companies, like Leicatex, which joined the Samuel family in 2017, and recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.
During the celebrations, Brian Cooke, President of Samuel Manufacturing, congratulated the team on their milestone. “Leicatex stands as a shining testament to a seamless acquisition, and I want to congratulate all of you, who have helped contribute to its success,” he said of the team who manufactures and supplies high-quality fasteners to the global strapping and packaging industry.
To celebrate the team’s hard work and dedication, we invited employees, their families and Samuel customers to a fun-filled day at our Leicatex facility in London, Ontario. Festivities included planting trees in recognition of long-term employees, including some who have been with us for more than 30 years, and supporting Samuel’s commitment to giving back to the communities where we operate by fundraising for The Salvation Army in Canada, a local Food Bank, Toys for Tots and Make-A-Wish Canada.
Congratulations to the Leicatex team on this exciting milestone. We look forward to seeing even more great things from them in the next 50 years.
