At Samuel, giving back to the community is a cornerstone of our culture, and we’re proud to have recently sponsored a guest room at the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in Hamilton, Ontario. This initiative reinforces our commitment to supporting families during challenging times and making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.
Several Samuel team members attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, including Katherine Vaillancourt, Director of Indirect Procurement, Anthony Chiesa, President of Service Centers & Automotive, Patrick Maloney, President of Samuel Automotive Group, Beckie Hilson, Manager of Purchasing, Gillian White, ERP Core Team Business Project Lead, Laura Barron, Manager of Inside Sales, and Meagan Bedford, Buyer in Purchasing. The event also featured RMHC leadership, including CEO Mario De Divitiis and Development Officer Megan Hemshaw.
During the ceremony, two Samuel team members shared their personal stories about the vital role RMHC played in their lives, offering a heartfelt perspective on the importance of the organization. RMHC provides a home away from home for families of children undergoing treatment at McMaster Children’s Hospital, helping them stay close during some of life’s most difficult moments.
"I am thankful we are able to support this wonderful initiative," said Katherine Vaillancourt, who coordinated the donation. "We hope it offers peace of mind and comfort for families in need."
This partnership with RMHC reflects Samuel’s ongoing dedication to making a difference in the communities we serve.
