Colin Osborne is President and Chief Executive Officer of Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, a position he has held since 2019. In this role, Mr. Osborne is responsible for the development and leadership of the Company’s long-term strategy and growth plans. Within Samuel, Mr. Osborne has held a number of other roles, including President & Chief Operating Officer, President – Samuel Service Centers and Automotive and President – Samuel Manufacturing Division. Before joining Samuel in 2015, Mr. Osborne was President and Chief Executive Officer of Vicwest Inc, a publicly traded industrial products company with operations in North America, Europe, South America and installations on six continents. Earlier in his career, Mr. Osborne held senior leadership positions at Stelco Inc. including COO and EVP Strategy. Mr. Osborne has extensive board experience and currently sits on the board of Hudbay Minerals Inc. Previously, Mr. Osborne sat on the boards of numerous public and private equity run businesses, including Strongco Inc. and TMS International. Mr. Osborne has also been active in the community, serving as Board Director of both Mohawk College and McMaster Innovation Park. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McGill University and has completed the Executive Management Program from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University.

Maria Perrella is Chief Financial Officer of Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, a position she has held since 2023. Ms. Perrella has over 30 years of progressive financial experience in both public and private corporations. Prior to Samuel, Ms. Perrella served as Chief Financial Officer at MDA, a Canadian-based space technology company; at ATS, a global automation company; and at the Canadian division of L3Harris (formerly Spar Aerospace Ltd.) She also provides governance and oversight as a member of the board of directors at publicly traded organizations. Ms. Perrella holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Schulich School of Business (York University) and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Anthony Chiesa is President, Canadian Service Centers at Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, a role he has held since 2019. In this role, Mr. Chiesa is responsible for the Company’s Canadian Service Center business and its Automotive Division. Prior to this, Mr. Chiesa led the implementation of the Company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system within its Service Center business. Mr. Chiesa joined Samuel in 2008 as Vice President, Finance for Western Canada before becoming Vice President, Operations, Canadian Service Center. Before joining Samuel, Mr. Chiesa held a number of senior positions with Klockner/Namasco. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brock University.

Cecile Chung is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, with responsibility for all legal, governance and compliance matters across the Company. Prior to joining Samuel in 2014, Ms. Chung was General Counsel for Carillion Canada and Director, Business and Legal Affairs at Astral Media. Ms. Chung began her career at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, where she practiced corporate and securities law. Ms. Chung is active in the community and is a board member of Toronto Global, the agency responsible for attracting foreign direct investment to the Greater Toronto Area. Ms. Chung was the Chair of the Audit Committee of the 2017 Invictus Games and has previously served as a board member of The Stop Community Food Center and the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation. Ms. Chung holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Western University and an Executive Master of Business Administration joint degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and York University’s Schulich School of Business.

Brian Cooke is President, Manufacturing Division at Samuel, Son & Co., Limited. In this role, Mr. Cooke leads the Company’s diverse manufacturing groups. Prior to Samuel, Mr. Cooke was Division President at Mauser Packaging Solutions. Before this, Mr. Cooke spent 20 years at Johnson Controls in several divisional and functional leadership positions. Mr. Cooke holds a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Karen Fenton is Chief People Officer at Samuel, Son & Co., Limited. Ms. Fenton is focused on building a high-performance culture and establishing Samuel as an exceptional place to work. Ms. Fenton leads the Human Resources organization and the company’s talent management, diversity, equity and inclusion, and rewards and recognition programs. She is passionate about unlocking every individual’s potential and developing rewarding career paths for all team members. Throughout her career, Ms. Fenton has held progressively more senior HR leadership positions at Samuel and Namasco. 

Kathy McLeod is Chief Information Officer at Samuel, Son & Co., Limited. Ms. McLeod has over 20 years of experience in a variety of IT leadership roles responsible for enterprise architecture, application design, solution delivery, infrastructure and operations. Prior to joining Samuel in 2020, Ms. McLeod worked for LafargeHolcim, a global building materials and solutions company, as Vice President, IT for North America. Ms. McLeod holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph and is a Certified General Accountant (CPA/CGA).

Sid Sousa is Chief Procurement Officer at Samuel, Son & Co., Limited. Mr. Sousa is responsible for sourcing, procurement and supply chain management activities across Samuel. In this role, Mr. Sousa leads the internal and external efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Samuel’s multi-billion-dollar annual metals spend. Prior to this role, Mr. Sousa was Vice President, Metals Supply Chain and Vice President, Stainless Steel Purchasing. Mr. Sousa joined Samuel in 2008 following the Company’s acquisition of Namasco in Canada. As a metals industry veteran, Mr. Sousa has held a number of senior positions in supply chain, procurement and operations since beginning his career. 

Brian Uchikata is Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Business Development at Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, a role he has held since 2021. In this role, Mr. Uchikata is responsible for the Company’s strategic and corporate development activities, including mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Uchikata comes to Samuel with a wealth of investment banking and corporate development experience, having held leadership roles at CPP Investments, Deloitte, Blackberry and Blair Franklin Capital Partners. Mr. Uchikata is a CFA Charterholder and earned an MBA from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University.
