At Samuel PSG, we also custom design wrapping equipment for your application. For example, in the metal industry, we offer the MEC DAGI-1800 coil wrapping machine that can dispense stretch film, paper and/or woven fabric using up to three material dispensing shuttles. Running a track through the eye of the coil and around the outside, these systems are capable of applying your choice of packaging material at speeds of up to 20 coils per hour. This automated system allows you to reassign workers to more valuable tasks while guaranteeing consistent packaging integrity as each revolution is calibrated to make tight, even applications of the chosen packaging material.‚Äč

The JENGLO automatic bagging system will allow the entire bagging line to be operated by one person, pull two USDA, JCIBPC required pre-cut samples and deliver to the operator. It will also place the bale into the bag and close the bag using two nylon staples, apply a USDA, JCIBPC approved paper label with another nylon staple to allow the operator to apply stick-on type label. It will then lower the bale onto a scale for weighing and push bale out for fork-lift retrieval or a chain conveyor will transition the bale exiting from the press completion of the strapping process by our P600 or P361 automated bale tying system.

Samuel PSG SBC-932 automatic strapping machines are designed for securing bulk loads of PET or glass bottles as well as aluminum, steel, and composite cans. The SBC-932 utilizes a heat seal method to weld the plastic strap together, providing reliable, uniform and high strength seal joints. The heavy duty heat knife has a life of over 200,000 cycles.

The SBC-932 incorporates a reliable strapping head, which automatically indexes up to 14" to the load side to assure tight, secure, and accurate polyester strap placement. This rugged strapping head is designed to be maintenance friendly and ensures low cost operations. All functions are tied into existing conveyor and production systems through PLC controls.

The SCU-8 framework is built from structural steel to withstand a lifetime of use in demanding plant environments. The heavy steel plated are reinforced under conveyor supports allowing for high compression forces on corrugated loads.

Our standard model offers compression up to 8,000 lbs. with higher levels available as an option. The SCU-8 comes equipped with the three strapping heads, which offers you the flexibility to use polyester or polypropylene strap in a variety of widths and gauges.
