Titanium Hot Forming

In this process, heat is applied to the titanium, softening it. Pressure is then applied to change the shape of the metal. Finally, the part is quenched in a cooled die. Titanium parts produced this way are characterized by high-strength, complex shapes and a reduction in “spring-back” effect.

We are an industry leader in the hot forming of titanium for over 30 years. We have an extensive background in tool design and specify only the highest grades of stainless to ensure our tools will produce blueprint parts for the life of the program.

With three sizes of hot forming presses, we can produce titanium parts up to .250 thick.
