Samuel is proud to announce the opening of its newest manufacturing plant in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico. This 125,000-square-foot facility marks a significant step in meeting the growing demand for railcar manufacturing in the region. The new plant is expected to create 130 jobs and strengthen collaboration with Samuel’s customers across Mexico.
The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, held earlier this week, was a momentous occasion. The event was attended by key members of the Samuel team, including President & CEO Colin Osborne, VP & General Manager of the Roll Form Group Pat Coward, General Manager of Sales and New Business Development Roger O'Toole, and Engineering Manager Adam Waldo.
The celebration brought together more than 200 attendees, including prominent local leaders such as Coahuila Governor Manolo Jimenez and Monclova Mayor Mario Dávila Delgado. Founders of IMMSA, Axel Munch and Sergio Perez, also joined the festivities, highlighting the significance of this partnership.
With operations already underway, Samuel has begun producing parts at the Monclova facility and is set to ship its first orders next month. This milestone underscores Samuel’s commitment to investing in innovative solutions and expanding its global footprint to better serve its customers.
