COLIN OSBORNE

PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Colin Osborne is President and Chief Executive Officer of Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, a position he has held since 2019. In this role, Mr. Osborne is responsible for the development and leadership of the Company’s long-term strategy and growth plans. Within Samuel, Mr. Osborne has held a number of other roles, including President & Chief Operating Officer, President – Samuel Service Centers and Automotive and President – Samuel Manufacturing Division. Before joining Samuel in 2015, Mr. Osborne was President and Chief Executive Officer of Vicwest Inc, a publicly traded industrial products company with operations in North America, Europe, South America and installations on six continents. Earlier in his career, Mr. Osborne held senior leadership positions at Stelco Inc. including COO and EVP Strategy. Mr. Osborne has extensive board experience and currently sits on the board of Hudbay Minerals Inc. Previously, Mr. Osborne sat on the boards of numerous public and private equity run businesses, including Strongco Inc. and TMS International. Mr. Osborne has also been active in the community, serving as Board Director of both Mohawk College and McMaster Innovation Park. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McGill University and has completed the Executive Management Program from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University.

MARIA PERRELLA

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Maria Perrella is Chief Financial Officer of Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, a position she has held since 2023. Ms. Perrella has over 30 years of progressive financial experience in both public and private corporations. Prior to Samuel, Ms. Perrella served as Chief Financial Officer at MDA, a Canadian-based space technology company; at ATS, a global automation company; and at the Canadian division of L3Harris (formerly Spar Aerospace Ltd.) She also provides governance and oversight as a member of the board of directors at publicly traded organizations. Ms. Perrella holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Schulich School of Business (York University) and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

LAUREN DAVEY

CHIEF TRANSFORMATION OFFICER

Lauren Davey is Chief Transformation Officer at Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, a position she has held since 2026. Ms. Davey leads enterprise transformation, people strategy, and the company’s marketing and commercial functions. She is responsible for advancing organizational effectiveness and aligning strategy to execution across the business.


Before joining Samuel, Ms. Davey held progressive executive leadership roles with Compass Group Canada and ESS North America. She also brings valuable board governance experience, offering thoughtful strategic insight and a collaborative approach to organizational growth and leadership excellence.


Ms. Davey holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Guelph and has also completed ESMT Berlin’s RISE Program, with a focus on Executive Leadership Development.

CECILE CHUNG

GENERAL COUNSEL & CORPORATE SECRETARY

Cecile Chung is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, with responsibility for all legal, governance and compliance matters across the Company. Prior to joining Samuel in 2014, Ms. Chung was General Counsel for Carillion Canada and Director, Business and Legal Affairs at Astral Media. Ms. Chung began her career at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, where she practiced corporate and securities law. Ms. Chung is active in the community and is a board member of Toronto Global, the agency responsible for attracting foreign direct investment to the Greater Toronto Area. Ms. Chung was the Chair of the Audit Committee of the 2017 Invictus Games and has previously served as a board member of The Stop Community Food Center and the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation. Ms. Chung holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Western University and an Executive Master of Business Administration joint degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and York University’s Schulich School of Business.

ANTHONY CHIESA

PRESIDENT, SERVICE CENTERS & AUTOMOTIVE

Anthony Chiesa is the President, Service Centers & Automotive at Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, a role he has held since March 2024. In this role, Mr. Chiesa is responsible for the Company’s Service Center and Automotive businesses across North America. Prior to this, Mr. Chiesa led the Canadian Service Center business and implementation of the Company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system within its Service Center business. Mr. Chiesa joined Samuel in 2008 as Vice President, Finance for Western Canada followed by Vice President, Operations, Canadian Service Center. Before joining Samuel, Mr. Chiesa held a number of senior positions with Klockner/Namasco. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brock University.

RICHARD COUGHLIN

PRESIDENT, ASSOCIATED TUBE GROUP

Richard Coughlin is President of Samuel Associated Tube Group, a position he has held since 2025. Mr. Coughlin brings more than 30 years of global leadership experience across HVAC, aerospace and gas turbine markets, with a strong focus on business strategy, organizational culture, and transformational growth. Prior to Samuel, he served as Vice President and General Manager at Parker Hannifin/Meggitt, a leading manufacturer of specialized energy, defense and aerospace solutions. Richard has served on multiple international boards and has extensive experience leading lean and business transformation initiatives. 


He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Systematics and Ecology, and Environmental Science from the University of Kansas, as well as an MBA in International Business from Baker University.

SIMON DREXLER

PRESIDENT, SAMUEL AUTOMATION

Simon Drexler is President of Samuel Automation Inc., a position he has held since 2024. Mr. Drexler leads the company’s strategic growth, technology direction, and global customer delivery across advanced manufacturing markets. With a career spanning more than two decades at the forefront of industrial automation, Mr. Drexler is widely recognized for bridging cutting edge technology with practical, scalable business outcomes.


Before joining Samuel Automation, Mr. Drexler held senior leadership and commercial roles at ATS Automation, SuperTrak CONVEYANCE™, Clearpath Robotics, and OTTO™ Motors. His experience spans assembly automation, precision motion, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and full turnkey manufacturing systems. 


Mr. Drexler holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University.

NATHALIE TESSIER

PRESIDENT, SIERRA & SAMUEL PACKAGING SYSTEMS GROUP

Nathalie Tessier is President of Sierra and Samuel Packaging Systems Group and has been with the company since 2025. Ms. Tessier has over 30 years of experience leading global organizations across banking, consulting, consumer goods, and industrial sectors, including commercial transportation and aerospace.


She brings a uniquely multidisciplinary leadership background, having held senior roles spanning Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service, Human Resources, and General Management. This breadth of experience enables her to connect strategy, people, and execution to drive sustainable performance.


Before joining Samuel, Ms. Tessier held senior roles at Howmet Aerospace, Arconic, Alcoa and Whirlpool. 


Ms. Tessier holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montreal and an MBA from ESSEC Business School.

KURT UECKE

PRESIDENT, SAMUEL ENGINEERED SYSTEMS GROUP

Kurt Uecke is President of Samuel Engineered Systems Group, a role he has held since April 2024. He has built his career in senior commercial leadership roles across engineered manufacturing, leading customer strategy, pricing, and go-to-market execution. His leadership is grounded in a growth mindset, focused on driving profitable growth while strengthening operational discipline and scalability. 


Mr. Uecke holds an MBA from Concordia University Wisconsin and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay.
