RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Aide in the review and maintenance and auditing of ISO 9001/2000: AS9100 certification.
  • Aide in the review and maintenance and auditing of NADCAP certifications for heat treat, Pre-Penetrant Etching, Penetrant inspection and Measurement and Inspection processes.
  • Work directly with the Inspection and Engineering Departments to ensure product conformity.
  • Maintain internal calibration equipment.
  • Assist to maintain and manage as well as any updated Aerospace customer approvals and requirements.
  • Conduct Purchase Order Verification reviews.
  • Track or post internal and supplier metrics.
  • Review of product and all tooling.
  • Review and sign off on all work orders for conformity before releasing to shop floor
  • Review and approve first article inspection Reports.
  • Conduct surveillance audits on our processing suppliers.
  • Initiate and maintain certifications for special process personnel.
  • Schedule and facilitate training of all company personnel.
  • Write and update internal procedures.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have strong knowledge of developing RCCA's.
  • Be able to work closely with the customer to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform internal audits on Quality Management System and special processes.
  • Must be able to handle several projects or assignments at the same time.
  • Must be able to work overtime when required.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Experience in the engineering related to quality.
  • Working knowledge of CAD systems and CMM experience.
