The Inside Sales Manager will provide guidance, coaching, leadership and direction to the Inside Sales staff in order to maximize profits and sales, while striving for complete customer satisfaction. In addition, the Manager plays a key role in sales at all relevant major accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide the Inside Sales staff with timely information on market and industry changes
  • Maintain an even distribution of work/accounts between Inside Sales Staff
  • Act as a liaison between the plant, purchasing and sales to help facilitate order flow through the branch
  • Promote the elimination of aged inventory through pro-active stock reviews
  • Keep all management informed of any areas of concern, including potential issues with customers or personnel
  • Ensure all Inside Sales Staff is properly trained and provided with the tools to efficiently assist customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University or College education in Business or other relevant area
  • 3+ years of sales management experience preferred
  • Effective time management skills, ability to prioritize, able to work as a member of a team
  • Approval by Hiring Manager & Human Resources required prior to posting
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Computers, software (Excel, Word, AS400, Microsoft Outlook, etc.), phones, company documentation
  • Previous interaction and experience with customers
