Welder Position Details

We are looking for motivated and experienced welders to join our company as Welder/Fabricators. As part of our team of professional welders, you will help to construct and manufacture metal parts and products such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, cold boxes, telescope housings, structural steel, pump barges, and general code work. Our welders take care to produce high-quality welds that meet code criteria. Your daily fabrication responsibilities will include reviewing specifications, general layout, cutting, grinding, fitting, welding, assembly, and team-oriented tasks. We expect our welders to complete each job within specific deadlines and to high quality standards.

Our ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years of welding experience, some schooling, a working knowledge of standard equipment and a solid foundation of best practices in general fabrication. Someone with experience in pipe fitting/fabrication, Submerged Arc, SS, Aluminum, and other exotic alloys, would be a great addition to our team given the complexity and variety in our projects. Welders/fitters will need to read weld symbols, follow blueprints, make accurate fractional (and some decimal) measurements, and take responsibility for fabricating parts used in later assembly processes. You are responsible for the quality of your output and must be able to work collaboratively in a team based, family environment.
