ACHIEVING A SINGLE-PIECE

WAVEGUIDE SUITED FOR SPACE.

 

The RF Waveguide was originally made up of multiple components with corresponding interface flanges and associated hardware with a mass of 275g. Through an iterative design process, Burloak successfully consolidated the assembly into a single unified body. This resulted in less failure points, a dramatic mass reduction, and lowered assembly and machining costs.
