Samuel, Son & Co. is one of the largest processors and distributors of flat rolled steel products in North America, with facilities located coast to coast. To find the metal you need, please use the listing below or contact a representative. For more information, please download the Samuel Carbon Steel Flat Rolled PDF.

Aluminized Carbon Steel

Aluminized product is hot dipped coated on both sides with aluminum-silicon alloy. This product assures a metallurgical bond between the steel sheet and the aluminum coating. Aluminized steel offers protection against corrosion and keeps the properties of the base material steel for temperatures lower than 800 degrees C. Commonly used for heat exchangers in residential furnaces, mufflers, ovens and ranges, water heaters, fireplaces, bar-b-que burners and baking pans.

Strip Steel

Strip Steel is produced from a hot rolled pickled strip. The coil is then reduced at a cold rolled steel mill to its final thickness. The final product typically consists of cold rolled steel that has been cut into specific widths, frequently interleaved with paper or other material which protects the surface finish. The product is often later stamped to form a part from the strip steel.
