Aluminized Carbon Steel
Aluminized product is hot dipped coated on both sides with
aluminum-silicon alloy. This product assures a metallurgical bond
between the steel sheet and the aluminum coating. Aluminized steel
offers protection against corrosion and keeps the properties of the base
material steel for temperatures lower than 800 degrees C. Commonly used
for heat exchangers in residential furnaces, mufflers, ovens and
ranges, water heaters, fireplaces, bar-b-que burners and baking pans.

Galvalume Carbon Steel
Galvalume product is an aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel with enhanced corrosion protection. The product is produced with a continuous hot-dip process resulting in approximately 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon by weight. The product offers both corrosion and heat resistance. Product can be ordered to minimum or nominal thicknesses.

Galvanized Carbon Steel
Galvanized product is produced by passing hot rolled or cold rolled product through a molten bath of zinc. The galvanized product provides a barrier or protection against oxidation. The galvanized product can be tempered for extra smooth surface, chemically treated, phosphate coated, or painted. Product can be ordered to minimum or nominal thicknesses.

Galvannealed Carbon Steel
Galvannealed product is produced by passing cold rolled product through a molten bath of iron-zinc alloy. The galvannealed surface is suitable for exposed and semi-exposed applications and is frequently painted before or after fabrication. Product can be ordered to minimum or nominal thicknesses.

Hot Rolled Carbon Steel
Hot rolled product is produced from continuously cast slabs capable of
meeting customer specifications and chemical compositions. Hot rolled
products are available in low carbon, high strength low alloy,
structural, high carbon and alloy grades. Product can be ordered to
minimum or nominal thicknesses.

Hot Rolled Pickled & Oiled
Hot rolled product is produced from continuously cast slabs capable of
meeting customer specifications and chemical compositions. Hot rolled
products are available in low carbon, high strength low alloy,
structural, high carbon and alloy grades. The pickling treatment is
applied to the surface to clean and remove scale, then oil is applied to
protect the surface of the strip from oxidation.

Prepainted Carbon Steel
Prepainted steel is produced from Cold Rolled, Galvanized, Galvannealed ,
Galvalume or Tin Mill products. The coatings are organic and organic
based and are applied continuously. Customers can choose from various
colors and paint systems. View our Prepainted Colour Chart for more information.

Strip Steel
Strip Steel is produced from a hot rolled pickled strip. The coil is
then reduced at a cold rolled steel mill to its final thickness. The
final product typically consists of cold rolled steel that has been cut
into specific widths, frequently interleaved with paper or other
material which protects the surface finish. The product is often later
stamped to form a part from the strip steel.
