Job Description:

​The Inside Sales Representative will support the growth and development of the Samuel Packaging Systems Group.  This position will play a pivotal role in developing new and existing business to support the achievement of the Company's annual sales goals. The Inside Sales Representative is to provide support to new and existing clients and increase company sales through the following venues:

  • Develop relationships with inactive accounts to reactivate

  • Contact and maintain all communications with customers in the assigned territory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers with forecast sales information, booking orders ahead of time

  • Communicate closely with field Sales Representatives, addressing sales activities, leads and opportunities

  • Support outside personnel with qualified leads

  • Prepare and issue documentation related to quotes, orders and call reports

  • Enter customer orders

  • Support and follow up on product knowledge, literate or technical support requests for recovered and existing customers

  • Adhere strictly to pricing guidelines, co-managed with regional and sales manager

  • Qualify current customers for new business opportunities

  • Identify at-risk businesses and report findings to sales reps or management

  • Manage customer contact information, prospects, and opportunities through Microsoft Dynamics CRM

  • Additional duties as required



  • Experience selling in an inside sales environment and/or demonstrated success working with customers

  • Post-secondary Business or Technical degree/diploma preferred but not a requirement

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication skills (bilingual – English and French)

  • Excellent administration/computer skills (specifically in Excel and Powerpoint)
