Position: Outside Sales Representative – Atlantic Canada

Job Description:

​The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a relationship with customers and prospects

  • Keep abreast of market changes and competitors

  • Act as liaison between customers and our various department such as Inside Sales, Credit, Production, Operations, Shipping, Purchasing etc…

  • Maintain customers and adjust to company and or market conditions

  • Arrange tours and see that the right people at Samuel meet corresponding people at the customer's facilities

  • Monitor and act on any aged inventory concerns

  • Conduct regular meetings with customers and inside sales to ensure that all the Samuel Sales' criterion are reviewed

  • Inform customers of all aspect of the Samuel group of Companies

  • Strive to add value with each transaction we do with our customers

  • Files reports as required (Monthly forecast, territory updates, lost business, etc…)



  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business related field is preferred

  • 2 to 3 years of relatable industry experience

  • Basis knowledge of line of products

  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships

  • Strong ability and desire to learn continuously

  • Proficient with MS Office suite

  • Valid driver's license
