Position: Project Coordinator – Inside Sales

Job Description:

​As the Project Coordinator for the Inside Sales team, you will be involved in unique, high impact projects for the Canadian and international markets. You will play a key role in the Estimating, Planning and Execution phases of these projects. Your ability to communicate with various stakeholders, detail orientation and strong organizational abilities will be imperative to the success of these projects. When you are not working directly on a project, you will be honing your sales skills and abilities in this multi-faceted role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect information for project bids from various internal and external sources

    • RFP review

    • Drawing review (with assistance from CAD)

    • Obtain quotes from outside processors

    • Estimate internal processing

    • Mill inquiries via purchasing

    • Freight

  • Prepare quotes and bids (daily requirements) for tank customers

  • Maintain project timelines through effective order scheduling, monitoring and communication with various stake holders (internal resources, vendors and clients)

  • Manage project documentation & Quality Control requirements

  • Participate in client meetings as required

  • Inside sales responsibility for regular assigned

  • Collect and report market intelligence



  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management or Engineering preferred

  • Project management certification a strong asset

  • Strong sales or customer service experience in a B2B or B2C environment

  • Ability to engage clients, build trust, and develop strong working relationships

  • Ability to work independently

  • Professional approach, strong business ethics

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong Excel and Word skills

  • Basic ability to read engineering and CAD drawings, MTRs

  • Ability to schedule and monitor multi-faceted project orders

  • Strong knowledge of steel products and grades

  • Exposure to construction projects is valuable but not required

  • Experience in the tank industry including knowledge of tanks and their basic components considered an asset

  • Project management/execution experience preferred

  • Quality Control experience a valuable asset
